Manchester Uniteds commanding 3-0 win against Tottenham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was the most-viewed soccer game in U.S. TV from Tuesday, Oct. 26, through Monday, Nov. 1.

Not only did the Red Devils batter Spurs, but club owners felt the need to sack Nuno Espiritu Santo after just 10 Premier League matches in charge. What seemed like dismay at the time quickly turned into excitement days later when the club agreed to a one-and-a-half-year contract with Italian manager Antonio Conte.

NBCs Premier League broadcast on Saturday, Oct. 30, recorded 919,000 average viewers and a 0.53 viewership rating.

TUDN secured the number two and three spots with the Concacaf Champions League Final and an international friendly between Ecuador and Mexico.

Monterrey were crowned North, Central America and Caribbean champions after taking down Mexican rivals Club America 1-0 in the final. Rogelio Funes Moris ninth-minute goal decided the match. The game amassed 497,000 average viewers and received a 0.23 viewership rating on Thursday, Oct. 28.

Mexico fell 3-2 to Ecuador in an international friendly at Bank of America Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 27. The blockbuster match saw Mexico level the scoring to 2-2 after going down by two goals early in the second half. However, Ecuadorian striker Walter Chala scored the game-winning goal in the 75th minute. TUDNs screening of the friendly averaged 472,000 viewers and received a 0.17 viewership rating.

Man United vs Man City this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. ET live on NBC Sports, Telemundo, fuboTV, Sling, and SiriusXM FC

The Manchester Derby is here! Man United and Man City are preparing to face off this weekend, with the Red Devils set to host the defending Premier League champions at Old Trafford in Saturdays early kick-off. All eyes will be on this tie as Cristiano and Co. look to overcome their shaky form when they face their bitter rivals. Despite pulling off a dramatic stoppage-time draw against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League, Solskjaers men once again exhibited worrying signs over the midweek. The Cityzens, on the other hand, lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace over the weekend but bounced back with their 4-1 victory over Club Brugge on Wednesday in Europe.

However, that is not the only interesting Premier League clash to keep an eye out for. Fellow title challengers Liverpool will be in for a tricky trip this weekend, with the Reds set to visit high-flying West Ham on Sunday following last weekends Anfield slip-up against Brighton. League leaders Chelsea will welcome Burnley to Stamford Bridge while newly-appointed Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte will make his EPL debut with Spurs in a trip to Everton. In-form Arsenal, on the other hand, will host relegation-battling Watford with the aim of entering the top five should Man United drop points.

Bayern Munich vs Freiburg this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. ET live on ESPN+

The Bundesliga title race has been an exciting one this season, with Matchday 11 in the German top-flight pitting two of the top three teams against each other. They are league leaders Bayern Munich and third-placed Freiburg, with the pair set to face off at the Allianz Arena this weekend live exclusively on ESPN+. The visitors are the only remaining unbeaten team in the league, and with only seven goals conceded, Breisgau-Brasilianer boast the best defense in the Bundesiga so far this term. However, Nagelsmanns players are goalscoring machines, with Lewandowski and Co. netting a whopping 38 times in 10 league outings. Who will win this showdown? Tune in at 10:30 a.m. ET to find out the answer.

However, thats not all. Second-placed Dortmund will also be in action on Saturday and could go top of the league if they win and Bayern Munich slip up. Unfortunately, Marco Roses side will be in for a tricky test against an RB Leipzig side looking to climb back up into a European spot. Leverkusen, who have been in bad form domestically, will be visiting Hertha BSC on Sunday.

Inter Milan vs AC Milan this Sunday at 2:45 p.m. ET live on Paramount+

The Milan Derby is back! Paramount+ will bring live coverage of this exciting clash to the United States as two of Italys greatest teams prepare to face off on Sunday. The Rossoneri, despite their struggles in Europe, have been nothing short of excellent in Serie A, boasting a seven-game winning streak. Piolis men, who are level on points with league leaders Napoli, are yet to lose a single game this entire season and will look to maintain this run when they lock horns with their bitter rivals. The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, have suffered a defeat during the course of this campaign, also enduring back-to-back slip-ups against Lazio and Juventus earlier last month. As a result, the defending champions find themselves seven points behind in the Scudetto race, meaning they cannot afford to lose further ground if they wish to retain their title.

TRANSFER TALK: New Spurs coach Conte could turn to Serie A to boost squad

Its only been a few days since Antonio Conte officially took over at Tottenham following Nunos sacking, but the highly-decorated Italian tactician is already making big plans as to how he intends to totally overhaul the squad ASAP.

That means making some key purchases during the upcoming January transfer market, and Conte, who won numerous titles while in charge of Inter and Juventus, is looking back to the league where he made his name both as a player and a manager: Serie A.

According to reports, Conte, who also won a Premier League title while in charge of Chelsea, is closely tracking four players. Two of them, Milan Skriniar and Stefan De Vrij, were part of Contes squad as Inter won the Scudetto last season - their first since 2010. The third is Franck Kessie, with the Ivorian midfielders contract at AC Milan set to expire at the end of this campaign, and could leave on a cut-price deal to avoid Milan losing him on a free transfer.

And finally, the fourth to round out the quartet is a player whos been making waves lately: Fiorentinas Dusan Vlahovic, whos again firing in the goals for the Viola, with eight so far in Serie A for the Tuscan side this season.

Ronaldo equals Solskjaers Man Utd goal tally with last-gasp equalizer vs Atalanta

Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored as many goals as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did in his Manchester United career. The Portuguese superstar equaled that tally of 126 goals with a brilliant brace against Atalanta, bailing out the Norwegian managers side from a potential loss in Tuesday nights UEFA Champions League Group F encounter. The Red Devils conceded Josip Ilicics opener under just eight minutes but were brought back into the game after their iconic no.7 scored right on the stroke of half-time.

The pendulum then shifted in favor of La Dea after the break, this time with Duvan Zapata getting the goal. Inside the first minute of additional time, Ronaldo emerged once more to score a stunning volley to seal a point for United. The former Real Madrid and Juventus attacker currently ranks as the top scorer for the Red Devils this season, having scored nine goals in 11 appearances thus far.

PSG reportedly considering terminating Sergio Ramos contract

Despite sealing an exciting move to PSG over the summer, Sergio Ramos might never get the opportunity to don their lovely Jordan kit as the Ligue 1 giants are reportedly considering terminating his contract.

According to reports from Le Parisien and LEquipe, the Parc des Princes side are growing fed up with the iconic center-backs ongoing injury issues. Despite signing him for free from Real Madrid after running out his Santiago Bernabeu contract, the Spaniard is said to be earning high wages in Paris, hence the boiling frustration.

Ramos exact salary remains unknown, but the lowest estimations put him at 13M per which, which translates to approximately $17.8M annually. This means that while the legendary defender has not even made his debut for the club, he has at the very least already cost the French top-flight leaders 4M ($5.5M).

The 35-year-old has been condemned to the treatment table for quite some time now due to several knee and calf issues. In fact, he arrived in Paris injured, having played only four competitive matches this entire year, with his last outing coming back on May 5th during Real Madrids UEFA Champions League semifinal defeat at the hands of Chelsea.

The tearing up of his contract is being touted as a possibility should he remain sidelined, but cancelling a multimillion dollar deal is easier said than done. An agreement would have to be reached with the player before terminating his two-year deal. Nonetheless, PSG continue to publicly maintain hope in his recovery as they recently stated that he could return to training anytime now, meaning all hope is not yet lost.

Barcelona hit hard by injuries as two key players are out of clash vs Celta Vigo

The Blaugrana side have had quite a bit of problems with injuries in recent times. When the new manager, which is all but destined to be Xavi, gets to the Camp Nou, he will be informed that French striker Ousman Dembels bad run with injuries continues, as he has been diagnosed with a muscular problem in his left knee.

Dembel had been out for the entire season due to a muscular problem in his right knee, and he had just made his debut in the 2021-22 season in the clubs one-nil win over Dynamo Kyiv, and after a 25-minute cameo, the footballer will be out for the next few weeks.

If that was not enough bad news for Los Culs, the club also confirmed that defender Sergiño Dest will not be included in the trip to face Celta de Vigo as the footballer has been experiencing back problems. His return to the pitch will depend on how his body reacts to the treatment provided by the teams medical staff.

Liverpool celebrate milestones with two-nil win against Atltico

Liverpool have booked their spot in the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League with an emphatic display against Atltico at Anfield. More than that, the Reds also picked up a couple of records while defeating Diego Simeones men in a game that should have had a wider gap between the sides.

Fans could have seen Liverpool claim a bigger lead during the game at Anfield, but some of their strikers were not spot on when it came to the final touch. Either way, the Merseyside giants stretched their unbeaten streak to 25 games in all competitions, their joint-longest run since 1893.

If that was not enough for fans to be happy, their German boss also had a night of celebration with his 200th win as Liverpools coach. Jurgen Klopp thus joined an elite list of bosses to have reached or surpassed 200 victories the others being Kenny Dalglish (222), Bob Paisley (307), Tom Watson (329), and Bill Shankly (407).

Zlatan Ibrahimovic called up by Swedish National Team for key game vs Spain

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will have one final chance to extend his legacy as Swedens all-time top scorer with the national team when the striker makes the trip to play the upcoming World Cup Qualifying games for the Blagult.

The AC Milan footballer has been called up by coach Janne Andersson for the key matches against Georgia and Spain, with the latter being crucial in determining the team that will earn the right to play in Qatar next year.

As things stand, Sweden are two points ahead of Spain in Group B, and if they are capable of winning four out of the six points available, they will book their spot in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
